MDBC is excited to announce our 2024 Winter, Spring and Summer schedule of events. We’ll be sharing more details for each event throughout the next few months. We have a lot of fun activities for every member of your family! Please take a look and reach out with any questions. 

February 10- Kids Learn to Fish – Learn about speck and bluegill fishing – we’re going to be teaching the basics of how to catch fish using the hook and bobber method. Skills learned will include how to rig your pole, baiting a hook, and landing fish!

March 23: Dinner Cruise to Hurricanes – One of the best meals you’ll find on the Harris Chain. Join us for a relaxing evening cruise and a delicious dinner!

April 5-7: Orlando Boat Show– Come visit your favorite one-stop boating center at the Orlando Boat Show. We’ll have a great selection of new boats, information on buying a new boat, boat rentals at MDBC and our popular “Boat Share” leasing program.

April 27- Lake Griffin State Park Cruise Over Picnic – Take a boat ride to a picnic lunch at Lake Griffin State Park! We’ll provide the map to the park and hotdogs, burgers and refreshments.

May 18- Boat in Movie Night for Mother’s Day- Come join us as we set up our big screen and enjoy a movie on the water and celebrate all the Boating Moms! Watch our social media and help pick what the movie will be.

June 8- Dinner Cruise to JB Boondocks – Join us for a Dinner Cruise from Mount Dora Boating Center & Marina to JB Boondock’s Bar & Grill to celebrate our Boating Dads!

July 3- Independence Day Celebration – Join us Wednesday, July 3rd for our most popular event of the year, our annual cookout!
