A fresh boating season is almost here, and we can’t wait to get back on the water with you. Mount Dora Boating Center is excited to roll out a full calendar of winter, spring, and summer events built around easygoing cruises, family adventures, and unforgettable days on the lake. From kid-friendly fishing events to scenic dinner cruises and holiday celebrations, this season is all about time together and making great memories.

February 7 – Kids Learn to Fish

A fun, hands-on day just for young anglers. Kids will learn the basics of speck and bluegill fishing, including how to rig a pole, bait a hook, and reel in their first catch using the hook-and-bobber method. A great introduction to fishing on the lake.

March 21 – Dinner Cruise to Hurricanes

Climb aboard for our annual dinner cruise to Hurricane Dockside Grill. We’ll cruise together along the beautiful Dead River before enjoying a relaxing waterfront meal.

March 27–28 – Orlando Boat Show

Come see us at the Orlando Boat Show. We’ll be showcasing a selection of new boats and sharing everything you need to know about boat ownership and rentals at MDBC.

June 6 – Dinner Cruise to JB Boondocks

Enjoy a laid-back cruise through Howey-In-The-Hills with great views, calm waters, and plenty of time to unwind with family and friends.

July 3 – Independence Day Celebration

Our biggest event of the season is back. Join us for an Independence Day celebration filled with food, fun, and fireworks to kick off the holiday in true lake-life style.
