Marina/Rental Operations Personnel

Hours:  8:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday thru Monday ~ or as determined by Operation/Rental Manager

Reports To:  Operation/Rental Manager

The following outline of your job here at Mt. Dora Boating Center is to give you a guide for expected performance.  It is not intended to limit individual initiative.  Understand that as customer needs and business opportunities present themselves it may be necessary to add or delete job responsibilities.

Authority:  Ensure marina customer’s launch, retrial and dock experiences are timely, enjoyable and safe.

Responsibilities:  

• Treat all customers with the courtesy and respect.
• Treat all fellow employees with the courtesy and respect. 
• Launch and retrieve hi-dry storage boats as requested by customers.
• Provide customer requested services, ex: fueling, cleaning, washing, pumping, towing, etc.
• Maintain forklift, tractor, company vehicles and equipment.
• Assist various facility maintenance duties, ex: dock repair, painting, landscaping, etc.
• Provide loading and unloading services for customer’s boats, new boats, freight shipments, etc.
• Provide boat parking and staging assistance as requested by service department or customers needs.
• Keep forklift, hi-dry, docks and grounds neat, orderly and clean.
• Maintain all landscaping and facility grounds ex: mowing, trimming, debris removal, etc.
• Maintain dock structures insuring all are kept neat, clean & structurally safe and sound. 
• Rental equipment operations, Check renters out providing instructions on boat operation and safety equipment.  Check boat in upon renter return.  Keep boat clean and in good running order.
• Keep your time productive.  Complete all work tasks assigned as efficiently as possible and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Possess essential forklift operation knowledge.
• Possess job related skills, ex: boat handling, equipment operations, etc.
• Good health and physical mobility.  Able to work outside.

Compensation:

•  Hourly wage $15.00 per hour. 
• 60 Day performance evaluation increase up to $15.50 per hour.
• Participation in quarterly profit performance bonus program after 60-day performance evaluation and having been employed for the full 90-days of the bonus quarter.
• Participation in revenue creation and share programs after 60-day performance evaluation.
