Mount Dora Boating Center is thrilled to unveil our 2024-2025 event lineup! With exciting activities planned for every season, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Stay tuned for more details as each event draws closer, and feel free to reach out with any questions.

December 6th & 7th – Toys for Tots Drive

Kick off the holiday season with our annual Toys for Tots event. The marina will be aglow with festive lights as we collect toys for children in need. Admission is free – simply bring a new, unwrapped toy or cash donation. Meet members of the Marine Corps Reserve and help make a difference this holiday season!

December 14th – Care Light Night for Lake Cares Food Pantry

We’re partnering with Lake Cares Food Pantry to brighten up the holidays! On December 14th, from 6-9 PM, bring a canned food item or cash donation to enjoy the dazzling marina holiday lights. All donations will help families in our community.

December 21st – Christmas Movie Night on the Water

Get cozy on Lake Dora for a festive movie night under the stars! Bring your blankets and family for a classic Christmas movie screening right on the water – a magical holiday experience.

February 8th – Kids Learn to Fish Day

Kids can learn the essentials of speck and bluegill fishing in this hands-on workshop! We’ll teach them how to rig a pole, bait a hook, and reel in fish using the hook and bobber method. A perfect day for young anglers.

March 22nd – Picnic Cruise to Lake Griffin State Park

Set sail to Lake Griffin State Park for a fun, casual picnic. We’ll provide the food – all you need to do is enjoy the cruise and the beautiful surroundings.

April 4th-6th – Orlando Boat Show

Join us at the Orlando Boat Show! We’ll have a variety of new boats on display and offer information on boat ownership, rentals at MDBC, and our popular “Boat Share” program.

July 3rd – Independence Day Cookout

Mark your calendars for our most anticipated event of the year – the July 3rd Independence Day Cookout! We’ll celebrate the holiday with food, fun, and fireworks.
